Are deposits refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable. When a deposit is placed on a vehicle and you choose to cancel the agreement, the deposit paid to Manamanx associated with the transaction will be forfeited.

When a vehicle has been physically reserved, it is taken off sale and preparation work undertaken as soon as possible in readiness of handover. The minimum deposit taken is £500.00.

If you were declined on finance, your deposit will be refunded. Please remember if a car has been taken off sale, it has been reserved preventing any other customer purchasing the vehicle. Costs are incurred to prepare the vehicle to your satisfaction. If the transaction is cancelled, these costs are still applicable.

Is road fund license included?

Our vehicles are not supplied with road fund licence (car tax). If you would like to purchase a road fund licence prior to the collection of your vehicle then please discuss this with your sales executive.

Vehicle Logbooks (V5'S)

Please note that DVLA issue vehicle registration documents, not Manamanx. We have no control over timescales to issue vehicle logbooks.

Do you provide a warranty?

On occasions, and through no one’s fault, vehicles experience problems. We always recommend that a warranty is purchased for your peace of mind. We partner with one of the country’s leading warranty providers Autoprotect.

You can purchase one, two, three and four year warranties. Please ask your sales executive for details. Please note there is no obligation to purchase a warranty.

Proceeding with placing a deposit confirms acceptance with the below Terms and Conditions.

1. Price

The Purchase Price is the price for the vehicle. In addition, the invoice may be listed with additional items such as a Warranty, Insurance and Paint Protection Products etc.

Manamanx operate the margin scheme and we do not charge VAT on the purchase price. Therefore, no VAT is reclaimable on the vehicle purchase price. VAT can be reclaimed on paint protection products and administration fees if you are a VAT registered business.

Commercial vehicles will have VAT added to the price.

2. Part Exchange vehicles

At time of handover we need to be in receipt of the current V5 registration document, service history documentation, spare keys, charging cables, locking wheel nuts and any other vehicle equipment.

Please note that when agreed, the part exchange valuation forms part of the contract The part exchange vehicle cannot be withdrawn from the contract. Manamanx have the right to cancel the contract if the part exchange has been disposed of in the interim of an order being signed and the sale completing.

  • 1. Cleared of any finance agreements, charges or other encumbrances which you did not disclose to us before the date of the agreement.
  • 2. Delivered to our place of business before you take collection of the vehicle and/or products.
  • 3. If the vehicle was inspected at initial deposit / sale agreed stage, it should be in the same condition. If the vehicle was not inspected, the vehicle must be mechanically fit for purpose, in a drivable state with no engine gearbox or other major issues that could affect performance.

If you fail to satisfy any of the above conditions, we will not be obliged to accept the Part Exchange Vehicle or to allow the Part Exchange Valuation against the Purchase Price and you may be required to pay the full Purchase Price before you take collection of the vehicle and/or products. We reserve the right to offer you an amended price for the part exchange should issues be identified affecting the original valuation.

3. Delivery

We aim to arrange the handover of the vehicle at our place of business to you as soon as possible. We do not undertake personal deliveries under any circumstances. We can however provide you with details of delivery agents who may be able to assist. Kindly note that any arrangement is between you, the customer and the delivery agent. Manamanx cannot be held responsible and act only to provide details of external agents that you may or may not use.

Please note that handover dates can be amended to reflect operational changes such as a delay in parts supply.

4. Deposit

If you applied for finance and your application was declined, your deposit will be refunded.

If you are collecting your vehicle after 6pm Monday to Friday or anytime at the weekend or Bank Holidays, we advise that payment is made prior within banking hours. This is to ensure receipt of funds can be verified by our accounts team. Please ensure you quote your registration number when making payment.

The following means of payment are acceptable:

  • 1. Debit Card – for deposits only to the maximum value of £1000.00
  • 2. Direct Bank Transfer – Sort Code: 60-17-21 Account No: 10339329
  • 3. Please note that we do not accept cash, credit cards, business debit cards, bankers drafts or building society cheques.
5. Transfer of ownership and risk

The Vehicle and/or Products will continue to belong to us until the total Purchase Price has been paid and cleared in full. You will, however, be responsible for any loss or damage from when you take delivery and should insure accordingly.

6. Payment Options

The following means of payment are acceptable:

  • Debit Card – for deposits only to the maximum value of £1000.00
  • Direct Bank Transfer
  • Please note that we do not accept cash, credit cards, business debit cards, bankers drafts or building society cheques.
7. Electric / Hybrid Vehicles

Manamanx make every effort to ensure that the vehicle you have purchased conforms to road safety and has no performance issues prior to handover. We kindly request that the customers note that we do not supply additional items that were not present at the time of purchase i.e. parcel shelves, satellite navigation discs etc. We do not ordinarily supply spare keys, however, if one is supplied, we are unable to guarantee the operation. We can provide details of an automotive locksmith. However, this is to introduce and no contract between Manamanx and the Customer is formed.

We will endeavour to complete the agreed work as detailed on our worksheet, however, the car purchased is a used car, not a new car and we are unable to restore the vehicle you have purchased to a factory standard. Used vehicles have covered miles and will never be in pristine condition, we kindly ask that you appreciate this.

Sat Nav

Not all of our vehicles are fitted with satellite navigation. If you see sat nav prep on the advert, this means that the module is fitted but the SD card or other additional equipment is not included in the sale. We can provide details of suppliers who may be able to assist.

Electric / hybrid vehicles

Please be advised that any figures stated in relation to electric / hybrid vehicle ranges are figures provided from the manufacturer and are in no way guaranteed by Manamanx. Range figures can vary dramatically due to driving style, weather conditions, battery health and other variables, and as such, should be used as a guide and not a guarantee.

Please note that there may be some features included with the car when fitted new that are not fitted with the vehicle offered for sale. We ask customers to carefully check the advert and not assume certain features are standard. We strongly advise customers to check the vehicle for individually required features prior to confirming purchase.

8. Servicing

If you would like us to service your vehicle, please ask and a quotation can be provided. We do not provide free of charge servicing. If we service your vehicle, unless otherwise stated the service provided will be an oil and filter service only.

9. Finance

£399 Fee payable when funding vehicle through an external finance provider outside of our panel of lenders.

10. Parts

If parts are required for the preparation of the vehicle you have purchased, these will not be premium/manufacturer parts. For example, tyres would not be replaced for like for like, but will be of good quality. If you would like premium parts for your vehicle, please ask and a quotation can be provided.
